Keaton Helms-Coming February '2011!
We are so very proud to announce that our Baby Boy, Keaton, will be arriving in February '2011! Matt, Addisyn, and I are so excited to meet Baby Keaton! We have just finished painting his room to prepare for decorations and furniture. Of course the theme for the nursery is going to be "sports" with a lot of Rangers and Cowboys decor! Addisyn is already such a great helper and loves talking to her baby brother and giving him goodnight kisses! She will be a great big sister!
Addisyn's T-Ball Season!
Addisyn has really enjoyed playing Tball this fall. Most importantly she has really enjoyed playing on the Rangers team...especially the year they make it to the World Series! Addi received the game ball the very first game and was very excited. She said the reason she got it was because she was the fastest on her team! Her daddy and I have really enjoyed watching her play! After playing a few games she informed us that she thinks Tball is very boring and wants to play soccer. I guess soccer is where we will be moving to in the spring. Go Rangers!

Great Wolfe Lodge Vacation!
My little family and both my sisters, Sonya and Kasey and their families went to Great Wolfe Lodge for a small vacation together. It was three days of a lot of fun! We are already looking forward to next year when we take another vacation together. Harper (newest of the cousins), took his first swim there and the other kiddos got a lot of sun. We were all water-logged after two full days in the water! This was the first trip that all of us have taken together so it was very memorable!

Our picnic time!
Matt and I took Addisyn and her best friend, Caiden, to a park to have a picnic and feed the ducks. It was a perfect day to go. We had our picnic first and then went to feed the ducks. The kids had a great time with one another! They are so sweet together and get along so well. We did get to see a snake swimming in the pond which scared the kids and at that point it was difficult to keep them focused on feeding the ducks...which I have to admit it did me too!! After feeding the ducks we came back to our house to have a nap. That night we had a cookout with the Hazelwoods and the kids swam in Addi's blow up pool (which she thinks is pretty cool!)!
Addisyn's First Dance Recital!
My Nephew's Arrival-Harper James Slavonic
On June 2nd, I was able to witness the arrival of my nephew, Harper in Oklahoma City. He was born at 6:00pm. It was the most amazing experience ever! He is just perfect...the sweetest little guy ever! Harper and I were able to form a very close bond right away because I was there the first five days of his life. I gave him his first bath and fed him some bottles!
I just love being an auntie! I have three nephews now; Harper, Hogan (his cool big brother...5yrs old), and Ryder from Canada who is almost 3 years old! I have one niece, Mercedes, who is so beautiful! She is about to be 8 years old and she is also from Canada.
