Addisyn was throwing out the Reindeer food!

Matt, Addisyn, and I had a great Christmas Eve and Day together at home! We made Santa's cookies, Addi threw out the Reindeer food in the yard, and opened one present each. I received a new camera from Matt and Addi. It is awesome! We went to bed early on Christmas Eve so that Santa would arrive.
Christmas morning was an awesome time together as a family! Addi was very excited about all her gifts and ready to play with them. We made breakfast together and then went to see the movie "Tangled" together.
We feel very blessed this year, as always! The Lord is so good to us!
In about 6 weeks we will receive a belated Christmas present that we are very anxiously awaiting! :)

Davey, Sonya, Mercedes, and Ryder arrived in Dallas last Wednesday to stay two nights with us. We had nice dinners and visits together and also went to the Galleria to go ice skating. This was the first time for Addi to ice skate but she was with very experienced ice skaters, from Canada! We had a great time with them and hated to see them leave. Matt, Addisyn, and I are really looking forward to seeing them again soon!

Matt's Company Christmas party and announcement about his promotion!

At Matt's Christmas company party they announced his promotion to director! I am so very proud of my hubby for all his hard work and dedication to his family and career. He takes great care of both and we can't be more proud of him for his accomplishment!

Addisyn loved writing her letter to Santa!

Addi worked so hard preparing her letter to Santa! :) When we were finished we took it to the post office where she thought it was pretty cool her letter was going to be personally delivered to the North Pole!

Have to brag on my niece and nephews! Just love these little ones and miss them like crazy!

Aren't they the cutest kiddos?! Mercedes is doing such a great job learning how to ice skate. I think she is an Olympian in the making! Hogan and Harper are such cute little boys (brothers)that I love going to OKC to visit...Harper and I have a special connection because I got to see him being delivered this past June. Then there is Ryder...there is no forgetting to mention this little monster! He is Mercedes' brother. I honestly hope that Keaton is just as full of the personality that Ryder is because he just cracks me up!

Keaton's Baby Shower!

My little, but growing family are so blessed to have so many wonderful friends. We were given a beautiful shower by dear friends-Micah, Debbie, Shelby, and Randi! Keaton is already being spoiled with all the nice gifts we received and continue to receive. Addi was also given some "Big Sister" gifts that she thought was pretty cool!

December 4th was a great kick-off to Christmas!

On Saturday morning, we met up with the Hazelwood family at the Sachse Fire Department for pancakes and pictures with Santa! We had a great time visiting with our friends over our great tasting pancakes and watching Addisyn visit with Santa. I also got to love on sweet Ashlyn...she is just so precious! Can't wait until her and Keaton get to meet.

Debbie, Ashlyn, and I went shopping afterwards and had a really good time! I have really missed my dear friend at work and was glad to get some time with her and sweet Ashlyn! Our day was not quite over at that point because after shopping and lunch we went to visit Santa (again!) in the Maxwell Creek neighborhood. We even got to see "real" reindeer! After that (!) we headed to the Wylie Christmas Parade with the Talley and Williams families. We topped off our day having dinner with them after the parade. Yes, after this full day we were tired!

Addisyn was so excited when Toy Story 3 came out on DVD! We saw it twice in the theaters. One of the two times was in 3D! As you can see if you have seen the movie as well, her favorite part is when the potato head uses a tortilla for his body to move about! She laughs hysterically every time she watches that part! :)

A visit from our Okie Family!

We always love seeing Mami and Papa, Aunt JJ and Uncle Kyle! They were in Ft. Worth so we were able to see them for the evening. Matt, Addisyn, and I had a really good time having dinner with them in the Ft. Worth Stockyards. Addi just loves them and I wish that she could see them often.

Addisyn doing her homework and coloring!

Addisyn loves working on her school stuff and learning more about her numbers and letters. She is learning how to read and learns quick. We are so proud of her for working so hard and practicing, especially when she could be playing instead of doing schoolwork!

Texas Rangers at the World Series!

This family is big Texas Rangers fans who was excited about the '2010 season. The Rangers had such a successful season this year and I must say the best part of it was beating the New York Yankees to advance onto the World Series. They played the San Francisco Giants, whom the Rangers lost to. However, we were very proud Ranger fans who were just excited that they made it as far as they did. They were truly an outstanding team to watch and not because of their talents but their attitudes and personalities toward one another and the game! We are looking forward to the '2011 season beginning next April. Go Rangers!

Halloween '2010

This was our third year to spend Halloween with the Hazelwood family in Maxwell Creek neighborhood! As always we had a blast! This year had a new member, Ashlyn, the Hazelwood family's new addition. It was a gorgeous evening that allowed us to enjoy the evening. We had to rush the trick or treating this year in order to get back home to finish watching the World Series which the Texas Rangers were playing in. Addisyn was very excited about being a kitty cat and Caiden really enjoyed being Buzz Light Year! Another friend of Addisyn's joined us. His name is Drew, dressed up as Spiderman. The three of them got a lot of candy and really enjoyed the Halloween night together.
